An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Errapel in the 7th minute of play forced Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Benjamin Cuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Cuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Sven-Erik Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Mangione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, SE7EN's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Fransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olimpiu Dragnea. Goo Goo Dolls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olimpiu Dragnea in the 13th minute. Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Erik Fransson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benjamin Cuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Ogășanu in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, SE7EN's Cazimir Ogășanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Cuss was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute Nereo Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Cuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isto Leppiniemi in the 33rd minute of play. Olimpiu Dragnea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Nereo Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Cuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sten Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Sten Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Matteo Gillis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Fransson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá Mangione to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Cacá Mangione who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE7EN's Sven-Erik Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isto Leppiniemi in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, SE7EN's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lane came free, but Sven-Erik Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes SE7EN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olimpiu Dragnea who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Goo Goo Dolls getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Trey Hughes-Guy hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Cacá Mangione got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Isto Leppiniemi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss. Benjamin Cuss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Cuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Leppiniemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, SE7EN's Remigio Chico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Cuss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SE7EN's Nereo Errapel got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Olimpiu Dragnea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Fransson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Chico got free with Benjamin Cuss in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Remigio Chico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Cuss. That made the score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. SE7EN made a substitution. Otto Spets replaced Oskar Grep. Felix Lane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Erik Fransson. SE7EN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Gwidon Ciupierdo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Cuss, 0-5. Felix Lane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Erik Fransson having to make a save. Benjamin Cuss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Chico in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Olimpiu Dragnea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goo Goo Dolls's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Dragnea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Erik Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SE7EN had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
