Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Wasyl Sidorowicz however easily saved by the left post. Leon Gamza hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Gamza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
