After 2 played minutes ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ got a freekick which was hit by Şenol Akbaba. Egun Zapico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 9th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Estevão Reis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Estevão Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenol Akbaba in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Zapico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ got a freekick which was hit by Şeray İhtiyar. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Şenol Akbaba sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateusz Gabis to maneuver through the defense. Mateusz Gabis kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Egun Zapico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şenol Akbaba to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Reis in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Şenol Akbaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of play forced ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egun Zapico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 73rd minute of play. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ made a substitution. Olcay Orkun Gökekin replaced Şeray İhtiyar. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burak Orkan in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erkan Fişek took the corner. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
