Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasta Alfonso in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 14th minute. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Kent Beckeman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hasta Alfonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Kent Beckeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. With an all-out effort, Glentown FC's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hasta Alfonso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Hasta Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Harry Sandström got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hồ Linda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Ronaldinho Miguel made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Andreas Johansson got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Miguel in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Ronaldinho Miguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Beckeman having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harry Sandström in the 70 minute of the game. The supporters of Glentown FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Miguel in the 76th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kent Beckeman. That made the score 2-2 after 86 minutes of play. A collision led to Glentown FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ove Skålberg hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kent Beckeman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rafael Gallo scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Beckeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
