The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okan Golovichev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Marcus Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Okan Golovichev scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okan Golovichev in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcus Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Mazza saved Karapinar from getting behind. If Sertel Ankara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Big Bonk put in a rough tackle. Karapinar's Ercüment Dağdelen was substituted for Ahmet Nasir Kamran. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karapinar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty!

51 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcus Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Mazza made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Karapinar's Marcus Mazza got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 minutes Karapinar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 70th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Karapinar's Marcus Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 80 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Karapinar's Marcus Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Karapinar from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Marcus Mazza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 90 minutes, Ali Cafer Tatar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karapinar and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Cafer Tatar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. A collision led to Karapinar getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ali Cafer Tatar hit a great ball. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Karapinar's Ahmet Baki Yamaç in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. The Karapinar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
