Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Maradona in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Faustino Jakes came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zhuang Hai Xu sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Sendoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as DESTROY's Faustino Jakes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Gonsalve. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Gonsalve should have stopped the shot. Saturnino Favila hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. DESTROY's 武 Messi was substituted for Faustino Jakes. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Zhuang Hai Xu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. DESTROY's Silverio Gonsalve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save DESTROY from getting a goal against them. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Gonsalve having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Armando Maradona managed to get in a good position for a shot. DESTROY's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Maradona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DESTROY's Brennan Johnson was substituted for Placido Orlandus. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Silverio Gonsalve when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 77 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Sendoa. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Silverio Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DESTROY the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The DESTROY support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
