Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Piotr Jucha took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ümit Suhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. Ümit Suhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Kastamonuspor 1966 defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ümit Suhan. The Kastamonuspor 1966 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ümit Suhan should have stopped the shot. Ümit Suhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Piotr Jucha sent off a good shot on target. Kuddusî Tekinsoy's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuddusî Tekinsoy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kastamonuspor 1966's Kuddusî Tekinsoy got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ümit Suhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Türkeş Davarcı hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ümit Suhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ümit Suhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga managed to work through Kastamonuspor 1966's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edmundo Espiga dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Kastamonuspor 1966's Ümit Suhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Kastamonuspor 1966 from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kastamonuspor 1966's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Piotr Jucha struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kastamonuspor 1966. After having played for 83 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ümit Suhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Honduras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
