Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oktay Derelioğlu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Dikili Sahil Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oktay Derelioğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Georg Siöberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dikili Sahil Spor's Sabri Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Dino having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dikili Sahil Spor's Şenol Fidan got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Dikili Sahil Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sabri Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Abeyta in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Peru booed when Dikili Sahil Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turan Uzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Di Bin Feng hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but Dikili Sahil Spor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
