When Teodoro Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Hartz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Navin Dale could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Navin Dale was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teodoro Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's attentive Carroll Mansfield managed to snatch the ball when Luis Cazalla made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Teodoro Hartz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Ceni was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Santino Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Hartz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 59th minute of play. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
