The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Ceni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Herbert Pracki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Herbert Pracki sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Herbert Pracki came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Pracki couldn't finish the play. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Herbert Pracki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Pracki in the 75th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Edu Dum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz was substituted for Herbert Pracki. Edu Dum kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Hartz in the 84th minute of play. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. Teodoro Hartz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano LOS PIRATAS. In the 91st minute Teodoro Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Teodoro Hartz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Hartz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
