The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juraj Múdry in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Yong Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OROTINENSE made a substitution.
