Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Frasquito got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Venezia FC's Diego Frasquito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Frasquito in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Frasquito in the 11th minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Bazkoare during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezia FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Flavio Bazkoare hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Venezia FC were awarded a corner. Thibau Van Mellaert went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Thibau Van Mellaert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Diego Frasquito in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Frasquito. Roberto Abbondanzieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Frasquito in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of the match. When Venezia FC's Diego Frasquito in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Abbondanzieri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. With a little luck, Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Diego Frasquito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Angel Guillelmus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Guillelmus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Salvadore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Frasquito went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Venezia FC.
