An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 9th minute of play forced AgroVet United's goalkeeper Paolo Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga to fire away a dangerous shot which Paolo Gimenez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Gimenez was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Paolo Gimenez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to AgroVet United getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Joaquin Eufemio hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AgroVet United's Joaquin Eufemio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Casimiro Eneas made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gimenez having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Paolo Gimenez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Casimiro Eneas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes AgroVet United got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Bonadona. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Casimiro Eneas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 77 played minutes AgroVet United got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Bonadona. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Santos Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 97th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AgroVet United had played much better football throughout.
