Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Baldaia kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Baldaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Baldaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Yu Chong hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Yu Chong made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Chi-Chi Chi. Dagoberto Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ got a freekick which was hit by Txerran Mortal. The supporters of Peru booed when ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chi-Chi Chi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Paulo Baldaia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa skillfully saved the ball. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dagoberto Zonta quite easily take care of the ball. Lucjan Oliszewski hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dagoberto Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With an all-out effort, Peru's Dagoberto Zonta threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yu Chong in the 95 minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
