Joel Bufi started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Infidels F.C's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Ozhogin came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Bufi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Bufi in the 9th minute of play. Venancio Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Irakliy Ozhogin was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Nordström couldn't finish the play. Ni Song Kang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 45thth minute of the game Joel Bufi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Infidels F.C's George Söderström got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Bufi's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Joel Bufi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Bufi in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Irakliy Ozhogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄星伟 in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Joel Bufi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Infidels F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Irakliy Ozhogin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Nordström in the 73rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 80th minute of play forced Infidels F.C's goalkeeper Irakliy Ozhogin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Irakliy Ozhogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Bufi in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Infidels F.C's Irakliy Ozhogin got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Infidels F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
