Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramiro Paul took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Joel Gaona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Paul got free with Dante Lacasa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31stth minute of the game Luca Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Boldur in the 34th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Marcel Vulpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eugen Boldur's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Cormoranii -MM- getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cornel Sălcudeanu hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Dino Zoff threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 52 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dino Zoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dino Zoff firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Diaconu in the 63rd minute of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Marcel Vulpe got a free kick in the 66th minute. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes Cormoranii -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dino Zoff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cornel Panaitescu charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Panaitescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Panaitescu to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Paul's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Paul in the 87th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
