Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 9th minute. Pankracy Oborski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Pankracy Oborski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Djurgårdens IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Nilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Börje Fagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Man in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Nilsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 33 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Nilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Oborski in the 42nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Pankracy Oborski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Best Man got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Fagerberg was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mark Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Panama's Mark Nilsson threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Djurgårdens IF's Mark Nilsson got control of the ball when Miguel Miralles tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Djurgårdens IF's Alfred Mager. In the 84th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mark Nilsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 86 minutes into the game, one of Djurgårdens IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mark Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 92nd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Nilsson having to interfere. Djurgårdens IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
