Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hauk Hareide kicked off to start the match. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hauk Hareide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Armin Atroce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Goito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristobal Goito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Zachary Bielenda was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. Carabata Groove's Eduardo Domeka was substituted for Armin Atroce. Carabata Groove's Andreas Möller was substituted for Herbert Pilipiec. 47 minutes into the game, one of Carabata Groove:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristobal Goito had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Carabata Groove's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristobal Goito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Goito was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cristobal Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Goito came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 79th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Goito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 80th minute. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto-Federico Acosta came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line.
