Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Utkan Özçin. A sloppy throw-in by Håvard Todal in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Baltazar Moreira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Baltazar Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Baltazar Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Baltazar Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Gade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Utkan Özçin during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
