With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto. Olavo Pinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolf Hamberg got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes of play, Cassandros Elite Team's Josué Pedroso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Josué Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Rolf Hamberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 3-1. In the 32nd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Pedroso in the 51st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Pedroso in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute Josué Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josué Pedroso went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Bandeira in the 59th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Bandeira in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Emílio Bandeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cassandros Elite Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
