Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necip Sarıoğlu in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s Attilio Gentile got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
