The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After 5 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mario Dewaele. In the 7th minute, Mario Dewaele made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Dewaele in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Dewaele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damián Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Mario Dewaele succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Cagua Seoane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Mario Dewaele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Dewaele in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Dewaele to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Damián Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute RockCity F.C. were awarded a corner. Daniel Trynda went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 60th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. RockCity F.C. made a substitution. Angelo Oliverio replaced Ramiro Larrea. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Bagui Barrasa fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 62nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 87th minute of the game Bagui Barrasa made a throw-in which Damián Diaz played forward. After a rather tough play, RockCity F.C.'s Facundo Teijeira got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Damián Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, RockCity F.C.'s Daniel Trynda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RockCity F.C. reached it. When RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that RockCity F.C. were the better team. RockCity F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
