An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Berto in the 19th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Mel in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's Delmiro Mel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Mel came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Ferrer's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Ferrer helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Ferrer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the game Aírton Urbano made a throw-in which Mauro Rameriz played forward. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Valko De Hond put in a rough tackle. Cirilo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. When Danilo Brion fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLUMIN's protests and gave Danilo Brion a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Brion kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Salvino in the 79th minute of play. Victorino Sandalio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Massó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errecaborda AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
