The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Hermann Spieler in the 13th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Hermann Spieler. Torino FC's Hans-Hermann Spieler got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Guillermo Jaunzuria sent off a good shot on target. Hans-Hermann Spieler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 20th minute of play forced Torino FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Hermann Spieler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. In the 25thth minute of the game Hans-Hermann Spieler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Hans-Hermann Spieler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Hans-Hermann Spieler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Gines in the 30th minute of play forced Torino FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Torino FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Epifanio Savion hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Torino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Jaunzuria to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Pastor Ado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Carrizo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Torino FC's Salvador Jerold got a free kick in the 46th minute. Adolfo Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans-Hermann Spieler to make the kick off. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Hermann Spieler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hans-Hermann Spieler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Torino FC's Hans-Hermann Spieler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adolfo Carrizo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Torino FC's Adolfo Carrizo got control of the ball when Pastor Ado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torino FC's Adolfo Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Torino FC from getting a goal against them. When Torino FC's Hans-Hermann Spieler in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pastor Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Adolfo Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Errecaborda AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
