Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 23rd minute of play. Válbson Moraes's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Válbson Moraes hit a great ball. Marcelinho Barral was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Adrián Espadas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrián Espadas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 57 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Liberato. With a little luck, Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral got control of the ball when Răzvan Necula tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Necula got free with Marcelinho Barral in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Barral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Răzvan Necula showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. After 93 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Jaen. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelinho Barral made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Răzvan Necula sent off a good shot on target. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
