An unexpectedly hard shot by López Heredia in the 16th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Trengereid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldo Renteria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of López Heredia's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Waldo Renteria took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell Trengereid. Kjell Trengereid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. AntraX FDP.'s Kjell Trengereid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Joyner in the 38th minute of play. López Heredia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kjell Trengereid made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Waldo Renteria sent off a good shot on target. Dario Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of López Heredia's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling López Heredia in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Wilhelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Barlas Aydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AntraX FDP. made a substitution. Erick Sandoval replaced Fe Nestares. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Barlas Aydın got a free kick in the 61st minute.
