After a defensive mix-up in Team Xtra personell's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Fransson came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Xtra personell's goalkeeper Ludwig Fransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Team Xtra personell's Rasmus Olsmann got a free kick in the 46th minute. Rasmus Olsmann kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Team Xtra personell players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Blom in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Kent Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Team Xtra personell's Niclas Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
