Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) When Medárd Horváth came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Medárd Horváth couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Răcănel. 22 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medárd Horváth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medárd Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hortêncio Coutinho who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 46 in the game by Medárd Horváth from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hortêncio Coutinho took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Medárd Horváth. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Peter Schmeichel made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Medárd Horváth might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Medárd Horváth ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medárd Horváth in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medárd Horváth in the 66th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Marko Ruskov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marko Ruskov in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Ruskov in the 84th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Ruskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Pankracy Siwy made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were awarded a corner. Hortêncio Coutinho went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Marko Ruskov drilling the ball in to score 4-1 behind Ecuador's goalkeeper. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pankracy Siwy went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
