Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute of the match, Flóki Ólafsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Armando Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erland Söderberg having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 26th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes in the game, Flóki Ólafsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Rikard Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fomac FK. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flóki Ólafsson in the 43rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Paraibano in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Paraibano to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Paraibano in the 51st minute of play. If Rikard Smefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flóki Ólafsson in the 69th minute of the match. When Fomac FK's Flóki Ólafsson in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Erland Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Fomac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Nässén to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Nässén hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fomac FK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Rolfsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Smefeldt in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fomac FK had played much better football throughout.
