The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Güneş Süleyman sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. After 32 played minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Hami Erginer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 33rd minute of play forced Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
