The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mustafa Kemal Selman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a free kick in the 13th minute. Hilmi Uyaralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gunnar Nordin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gunnar Nordin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Mustafa Kemal Selman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match, Hilmi Uyaralp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mustafa Kemal Selman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Kemal Selman. Ataol Dilsafa kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Çavuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mustafa Kemal Selman struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Kemal Selman got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Hami Erginer got a free kick in the 55th minute. Hilmi Uyaralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Kemal Selman in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Hilmi Uyaralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Hilmi Uyaralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Mustafa Kemal Selman made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gunnar Nordin hit a great ball. Mustafa Kemal Selman kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Abram Secada scored to the left of an out of position Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy, making the score, 2-3. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Abram Secada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Abram Secada could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy however easily saved by the left post. Colombia were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s much stronger midfield.
