Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Barbu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Szczucin's goalkeeper Iwan Swoboda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Swoboda. FC Szczucin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of FC Szczucin booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwan Swoboda came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Swoboda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FC Szczucin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute, FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Iwan Swoboda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Emanuel Barbu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmund Walentowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Szczucin's players had a chance to rest. Arslan Sadreddin made a great header on FC Szczucin's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 58th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, FC Szczucin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Iwan Swoboda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Iwan Swoboda in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC Szczucin's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Swoboda came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Barbu in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Szczucin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Lewkowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
