Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Perez in the 7th minute of play. The ADM Taquaras fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Prince Anderson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prince Anderson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 94th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Canada players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ADM Taquaras from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
