A collision led to Real Armal F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cordairo Garay hit a great ball. When Raúl Gasso fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Armal F.C.'s protests and gave Raúl Gasso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Armal F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Raúl Gasso hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Moises Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Figueres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dionisio Figueres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Christian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Figueres. Real Armal F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 42 minutes into the match, Real Armal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Dionisio Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Figueres was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Espinar got free with Dionisio Figueres in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dionisio Figueres was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. With splendid footwork Edmundo Espiga arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-4 by the left pole in the game's 87th minute. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dionisio Figueres made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Dionisio Figueres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
