After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Nils-Emil Pedersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Bajens Lirare BK's Adam Valler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Åström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Emil Pedersson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Henning Åström. Bajens Lirare BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Pedersson in the 29th minute of play. When Bajens Lirare BK's Nils-Emil Pedersson in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Adam Valler hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Bajens Lirare BK's Nils-Emil Pedersson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Åström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Bajens Lirare BK's Henning Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Adam Valler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Pedersson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Emil Pedersson to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Casper Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bajens Lirare BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Grönberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 56 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Viktor Bokelund notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Viktor Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Casper Grönberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bajens Lirare BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Nils-Emil Pedersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajens Lirare BK. Casper Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
