Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes of play, Vila's Dido Gorolomov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vila's Olari Kabral. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Dido Gorolomov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koit Vaikma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Dido Gorolomov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Koit Vaikma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koit Vaikma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dido Gorolomov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lin Jun Xuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dido Gorolomov might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dido Gorolomov ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Vinhas in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Durvalino Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durvalino Vinhas went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 77 minutes, Durvalino Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durvalino Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Koit Vaikma in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Zorita 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Vila's Georg Oher quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Gisbert, made in the 84th minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luis Andino. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
