Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Floresta Club U18's Jeremias Peixoto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Floresta Club U18 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maurício Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floresta Club U18's Agnaldo Vaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Rubio, made in the 14th minute of the game. Floresta Club U18's Jeremias Peixoto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Rubio, made in the 15th minute of the game. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Maurício Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Eliseo Noboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maurício Araújo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After having played for 40 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Felippe Vianna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Felippe Vianna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The Floresta Club U18 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa Rica were winning 1-5.

In the 51st match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Vianna to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Araújo. That made the score 1-6 after 53 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Vianna came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Floresta Club U18's Jeremias Peixoto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Maurício Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Floresta Club U18's attentive Agnaldo Vaz managed to snatch the ball when Lautaro Puig made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Floresta Club U18's Maurício Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 77th minute of play. Axel Tasis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurício Araújo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 79th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Maurício Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maurício Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Axel Tasis in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maurício Araújo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Felippe Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Floresta Club U18's Jeremias Peixoto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lautaro Puig in the 93 minute of the game. The Floresta Club U18 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Costa Rica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
