Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Stålman came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Hisingen IK's Bernt Vennerkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Ström saved Hisingen IK from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Bernt Vennerkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After having played for 51 minutes, Casper Eckegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hisingen IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Eckegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Eckegren in the 54th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernt Vennerkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Vennerkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Vennerkvist ran back to his position shaking his head.
