The supporters of AGT Team booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lesardo Moreno came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, AGT Team's Lesardo Moreno made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltazar Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lesardo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Benzema in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Zinedine Benzema managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baltazar Adán came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. AGT Team made a substitution. Benito Azofra replaced Sindo Pabon. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinedine Benzema in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Dennis Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AGT Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Azofra in the 76th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute of the match AGT Team got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio Yeste ran over to the corner to take the kick. AGT Team's Baltazar Adán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save AGT Team from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. AGT Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Baltazar Adán, making the score, 1-4. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Benito Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertran Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
