Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Espiridion Manrique got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Espiridion Manrique's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Espiridion Manrique kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Tabor Aranzubia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galsino Barba scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a León FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of León FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espiridion Manrique scored 4-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ponc Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Moncho Romero made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Galsino Barba however managed to control. Galsino Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when León FC's Espiridion Manrique fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Moncho Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moncho Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moncho Romero hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Galsino Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espiridion Manrique's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes León FC got a freekick which was hit by Tabor Aranzubia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ponc Gómez saved León FC from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Espiridion Manrique who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes, León FC's Tabor Aranzubia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in León FC reached it. León FC made a substitution. Samuel Santalla replaced Galsino Barba. If Eli Abasalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Espiridion Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, León FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roldán Checa to maneuver through the defense. Ponc Gómez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Espiridion Manrique who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Espiridion Manrique left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The León FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Samuel Santalla came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the León FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Santalla couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espiridion Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roldán Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Samuel Santalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Samuel Santalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. León FC had played much better football throughout.
