Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Isidoro Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alekärr IF's Torsten Dahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Dahlquist. Alekärr IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Dahlquist. Alekärr IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Torsten Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alekärr IF's Torsten Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Dahlquist. Torsten Dahlquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 42nd match minute, Alekärr IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Pilgren to maneuver through the defense. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes, Dylan Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Alekärr IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yiğitcan Yoruk. The Alekärr IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-4.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Gustavsson in the 52nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Torsten Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Torsten Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Dahlquist having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ståle Stolpe in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Torsten Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Torsten Dahlquist made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alekärr IF's Samir Spirollari got a free kick in the 80th minute. Torsten Dahlquist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abraham Alguacil. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 83rd minute. The corner led to Panama's Miguel Miralles getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alekärr IF's Torsten Dahlquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Alekärr IF from getting a goal against them. When Ingmar Pilgren fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alekärr IF's protests and gave Ingmar Pilgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Alekärr IF got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Pilgren. Abraham Alguacil came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Torsten Dahlquist could save by the left post. Torsten Dahlquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. The Alekärr IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
