Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Platini in the 45th minute of play. Rembertów DJs's Wieslaw Bielatowicz was substituted for Piotr Polakowski. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Rembertów DJs's Wladyslaw Rzeszutek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rembertów DJs from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Michel Platini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Michel Platini put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Rembertów DJs made a substitution. Iker Moreno replaced Wit Lichorobiec. 74 minutes into the match, Michel Platini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Platini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Jonathan Venegas lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th minute of the match Rembertów DJs got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wieslaw Bielatowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Kazimierz Tyski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 91stth minute of the game Michel Platini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kazimierz Tyski made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mister Torpeda immediately put the ball in play. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Platini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Michel Platini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Michel Platini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rembertów DJs had won after a very even match.
