After 2 played minutes Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by 叶皓伟. 4 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Maranhense came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Rodriguinho Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Dorian Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dorian Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Rodriguinho Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Lenny Porter sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Umarizal the free kick. Dorian Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 27th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Maranhense did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodriguinho Maranhense in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Max Dal Bello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Rodriguinho Maranhense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Delfim de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Franco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Dorian Arce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Camilo Franco had several of the Umarizal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-2 score and a disappointed Dorian Arce as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 62ndth minute of the game 叶皓伟 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodriguinho Maranhense went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Umarizal's goalie prevented a goal. Umarizal's Diogo Calado was substituted for Rodriguinho Maranhense. After 75 minutes Umarizal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alberto Gisbert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Umarizal's Dorian Arce did a great save. Dorian Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Kevin Carballal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Umarizal the free kick. After 81 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. A sloppy throw-in by Walmyr Eger in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Diogo Calado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Diogo Calado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Diogo Calado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by 叶皓伟. Diogo Calado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umarizal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
