After 17 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Kloczko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliusz Trzaskoma in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After 22 played minutes, Uruguay's Camilo Franco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Kloczko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Jimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliusz Trzaskoma got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Francisco Seco in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jesus Jimenez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jesus Jimenez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. Aureliusz Trzaskoma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Aureliusz Trzaskoma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zakrzewo SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Trzaskoma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrico Bareiß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Tadeusz Budarz charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeusz Budarz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Aureliusz Trzaskoma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 71 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zakrzewo SSA the free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Tadeusz Budarz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Zakrzewo SSA booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Zakrzewo SSA's Aureliusz Trzaskoma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
