Umbrella Corporation's Sebastião Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastião Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Fabrício Fantini hit a great ball. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leszek Kornasiewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 41 minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Leszek Kornasiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbrella Corporation's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Kornasiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If John Lennon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute John Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alonzo Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Umbrella Corporation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Legimin Witarya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Legimin Witarya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Umbrella Corporation and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Legimin Witarya hit a great ball. Sebastião Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastião Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 90th minute. Legimin Witarya hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Umbrella Corporation's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
