Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Claude Persoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rik Winnepennincks got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Claude Persoons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth De Raeijmaeker during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth De Raeijmaeker. After 27 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Stein Govaerts. In the 38th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Persoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Rik Winnepennincks tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jabbar De Roeulx. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jabbar De Roeulx came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to LeRoeulx getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pascal Van der Willeghem hit a great ball. Maximiliano Escribano scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claude Persoons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rik Winnepennincks's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. LeRoeulx were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jabbar De Roeulx took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Uruguay's goalie and right to Pascal Van der Willeghem. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Uruguay's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 74th minute of play. LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save LeRoeulx from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Rik Winnepennincks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Daan van haeve. In the 93rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. LeRoeulx succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Uruguay had controlled the match.
