Billie Corrigan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, U21 Turkey's Su Čuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Su Čuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Nolan having to make a save. Jack Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Čuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Čuk in the 24th minute of play. After 30th play minutes Su Čuk shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Jack Nolan and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 32nd minute, Mete Tavukcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Northern Ireland's Jack Nolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Čuk in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Abidin Işınbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abidin Işınbay in the 39th minute of play forced U21 Northern Ireland's goalkeeper Jack Nolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ed Topham made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Toby Coogan immediately put the ball in play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Čuk was the one to do the kick off. Jack Nolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Su Čuk's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Su Čuk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jack Nolan, 0-5. Su Čuk took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Nolan. Jack Nolan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 64 minutes into the game, Su Čuk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jack Nolan. Su Čuk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. U21 Northern Ireland's Joseph Neill was substituted for Toby Coogan. U21 Northern Ireland's Daniel Hawkins was substituted for Danny Clegg. U21 Northern Ireland made a substitution. Keith Ripley replaced Eric Choupo-Moting. Jack Nolan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Su Čuk went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. In the 79th match minute, U21 Turkey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uluç Erben to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, U21 Northern Ireland's Achraf Hakimi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, U21 Northern Ireland's Jack Nolan got control of the ball when Su Čuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keith Ripley charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keith Ripley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, U21 Northern Ireland's Jack Nolan got control of the ball when Su Čuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Su Čuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Su Čuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Nolan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Su Čuk in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Nolan saved U21 Northern Ireland from getting behind. Jack Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Čuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over U21 Turkey could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Northern Ireland throughout the match.
