With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when La Rat tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Rat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. In the 15thth minute of the game La Rat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 20th minute of play. La Rat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jess Carnduff saved Alemannia Aachen from getting behind. 鲁剑建 made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. In the 33rd match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 鲁剑建 to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 35th minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers La Rat in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that La Rat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Jess Carnduff had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abram Sarmiento from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 57th minute Thomas Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Müller went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when La Rat came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Thomas Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from La Rat in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alemannia Aachen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jess Carnduff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd match minute Kevin Mastache ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Jess Carnduff. 2-1. Jess Carnduff was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Kevin Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Joshua Garrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jess Carnduff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 80th minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 81st minute of the match. Jess Carnduff was a little too slow when Ignacio Mastache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
