In the 2nd match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Fafinski to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Gdansk36's Cyprian Rekowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Cyprian Rekowski kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Matysek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Adam Matysek. FC Gdansk36's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Matysek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adam Matysek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Adam Matysek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Adam Matysek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Matysek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Rekowski in the 36th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gdansk36's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Rekowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Rekowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyprian Rekowski went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Rekowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 61st minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iggi Kot in the 63rd minute of the match. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Rekowski in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute FC Gdansk36 were awarded a corner. Iggi Kot went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Gdansk36's corner Iggi Kot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Fafinski to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Matysek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Kozlowski in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Gdansk36 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Witomir Perkowski hit a great ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Gdansk36 throughout the match.
