Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dorel Stângã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tasos Mermigis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinamo Speia's Dorel Stângã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tasos Mermigis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Tasos Mermigis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dinamo Speia's Dorel Stângã. 0-2. In the 44th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Stângã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dinamo Speia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Dominix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Dorel Stângã to make any attempt to save it. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Dorel Stângã made a huge save. Dorel Stângã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Dinamo Speia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dinamo Speia's Dorel Stângã did a great save. A collision led to Dinamo Speia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ion Delinschi hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorel Stângã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Stângã having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dorel Stângã made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Lautaro Mancebo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorel Stângã. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 83rd minute Tasos Mermigis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Dorel Stângã in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Dominix in the 87th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorel Stângã came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute. Dorel Stângã made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mexico booed when Dinamo Speia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Delinschi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
